A big congrats and thanks to all you racers out there that helped Lone Star re-capture the Texas Ski Cup for Division I this year. We'll be proudly displaying the cup at upcoming club events.

Race awards were presented at the Year-End Party. Attaboys go to Gene Gilliam and Jo Richardson for top racers, Terry Trewitt and Cynthia Post for most improved racers, Gene Gilliam and Jo Richardson for Best Handicap, and Kathy Murphy and Rudy York for worst handicap (and the perseverance of not giving up). Ron Campbell was recognized for being the Best Race Director by getting the largest percentage of skiers to race on his trip. Individual awards went to Cynthia Post for 1st Open Women, Traditional and 2nd Open Women, Final Showdown; Judy Rayfield for 1st Senior Women, Traditional and 5th Senior Women, Final Showdown; Jo Richardson for 2nd Open Women, Fall Roundup and 2nd Open Women, Traditional; Debbie Thornell for 2nd Senior Women, Fall Roundup; Gene Gilliam for 2nd Senior Men, Final Showdown; Jeff Nesrsta for 1st Senior Men, Fall Roundup, 1st Senior Men, Traditional, 1st Senior Men, Final Showdown; Dave Pennington for 1st Open Men, Traditional; Greg Post for 5th Open Men, Traditional and 3rd Open Men, Final Showdown; Joe Schultes for 2nd Senior Men, Fall Roundup; Glenn Strother for 4th Open Men Traditional; and Ken Walton for 3rd Senior Men, Fall Roundup.
